General Shipping

At Vinyl Plank Direct, we leverage our nationwide logistics network to secure some of the most competitive freight rates in the industry. We ship with trusted carriers such as FedEx Freight, Saia Motor Freight, R+L Carriers, Roadrunner Freight, and Estes Express Lines.

Average delivery time is approximately 5 business days, depending on your location. You may also request a free, no-obligation freight quote before placing your order.

Every order is carefully packaged at our facility to ensure safe transit and arrives to you in the best possible condition. All shipments are insured. Please inspect your order upon delivery and note any visible damage on the driver’s paperwork so that we can promptly file a claim and replace any affected material.

Residential Deliveries

Residential deliveries are curbside only. The freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery time. Someone must be present to sign for the shipment and assist in unloading.
Each carton averages 50 lbs and can be handled by one person.
If you require a liftgate or other special services, contact us in advance for a customized quote.
Residential deliveries may take an additional 1–2 business days, depending on the carrier’s schedule.

Business Deliveries

Business deliveries are dock-to-dock. The freight company will call to arrange a delivery window. Someone must be present to sign for the shipment and unload the flooring using a dock or forklift.
If your business requires a liftgate or other special accommodations, please contact us for a custom quote.

Warehouse Pickup

If preferred, you may choose to have your shipment held at the closest carrier terminal for pickup. Most terminals operate Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. Contact us to confirm the nearest location to you.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We want you to be completely confident in your purchase. Vinyl Plank Direct accepts returns on unopened cartons(minimum of 5) within 30 days of delivery, subject to the terms below.
3-Step Return Process
Contact Us – Call [Vinyl Plank Direct Customer Care] or email returns@vinylplankdirect.com within 30 days of receiving your order to request a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
Ship It Back – You are responsible for return shipping costs. We will help coordinate freight if required. All returns must be palletized and properly secured.
Receive Your Refund – Once your return arrives unopened, in original condition, and within the 30-day window, we’ll issue a refund (minus shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee). Refunds are processed within 2–4 weeks and returned in the same form of payment used at purchase.

Return & Exchange Details

Exchanges are permitted within 15 days of receipt without a restocking fee (applies to Vinyl Plank Direct-brand products only).
Installed flooring cannot be returned or exchanged. Installation is considered acceptance of the product.
Returns or exchanges are not accepted on opened boxes, clearance items, final sales, or custom/special orders unless the product is defective.
Affiliate or third-party products may carry an additional restocking fee.

When We Cover Shipping & Restocking
Vinyl Plank Direct will waive shipping and restocking fees in cases where:
The product is defective
The shipment was damaged in transit
You received the incorrect product due to our error
